Preface

The year 2025 was marked by profound political and cultural policy changes. The change of government at the federal level was accompanied by a redefinition of cultural policy priorities and marked a turning point at the end of the year for many actors in the independent performing arts. During this transitional phase, the Fonds Darstellende Künste was called upon to provide guidance and ensure continuity.

    1. Head office

    The Fonds Darstellende Künste is one of six federal cultural funding bodies. Here you will find a brief profile, a list of the team members and the organizational structure.

    2. Bodies

    3. Funding

    5. Events and Discourse

    The film premiere of DIE KUNST, VIELE ZU BLEIBEN and the BUNDESTREFFEN25, which included the presentation of the Tabori Prize, were among the highlights in 2025.
