Eva von Redecker, born in 1982, is a philosopher and freelance writer. From 2009 to 2019, she was a research assistant at Humboldt University and served as a visiting scholar at the University of Cambridge and the New School for Social Research in New York. In 2020–2021, she held a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship at the University of Verona, where she conducted research on the history of property; in 2023–2024, she served as the “Metropolschreiberin Ruhr.”

Eva von Redecker focuses on critical theory, feminism, critiques of capitalism, and authoritarianism; she writes articles for publications such as *Die ZEIT*, publishes the column “Ohne Geländer” in *Philosophie Magazin*, and is a regular guest on radio and TV interviews. At the Schauspiel Köln, she organized the philosophical discussion series “Eva and the Apple”; at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, she talks with her guests about visions of the future and artificial intelligence in the “Maschinenraum der Zukunft” (Engine Room of the Future).

Having grown up on an organic farm, she now lives in rural Brandenburg.

Signa Köstler (née Sørensen) was born in Århus in 1975. After graduating from the University of Copenhagen with a dual degree in Art History / Film & Media Studies, Sørensen began to experiment with installation as a medium, initially financing her work by taking employment as a champagne girl in nightclubs. As stated in various interviews, the experiences and environment of the profession inspired, and crucially influenced, her future body of work. Testing the limits of proximity and intimacy, Sørensen began placing herself within the installations and among the audience. Often controversial in theme and radical in form, her performances won her praise as one of Europe’s leading performance artists and directors. In 2004, Arthur Köstler joined her, and together they founded the performance collective SIGNA.
Signa Köstler has received numerous distinctions throughout her career, including the Lifetime Honorary Grant from the Danish Arts Council (2025), the Aksel og Marta Fuhr Legat (2025), the Faust Preis for Best Set Design (2024) for Das 13. Jahr, participation in the Berliner Theatertreffen (2023) for Die Ruhe and previously in 2008 for Die Erscheinungen der Martha Rubin, the Reumert Prize (2018) for Det Åbne Hjerte, the Nestroy Preis (2016) for Wir Hunde, the Rolf Mares Preis for Best Set Design (2015) for Söhne & Söhne, and the Bisballeprisen (2005). The Danish Arts Council has been a continued source of support for her performances through several grants and scholarships throughout her career. Signa is married to Arthur Köstler, and they live in Copenhagen.

In her work, the German-Austrian composer Brigitta Muntendorf explores the fragility of our techno-social and sociopolitical reality and develops new concepts of “Radical Listening,” “Environmental Storytelling,” and “Immersive Theater” across a range of formats, from instrumental settings to 3D audio productions, AI voice cloning, and transdigital music theater. Artist residencies have taken her to Kyoto and Paris, among other places, and her works are presented at international music and art festivals such as Kyoto Experiment, the Vienna Festival, the Donaueschingen Music Festival, TIME:SPANS New York, and the Holland Festival. Brigitta Muntendorf is a professor of composition at the Cologne University of Music and Dance, a full member of the Berlin Academy of Arts, and a member of the North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences and Arts. Since 2026, she has served as artistic director of the KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen.

Wolfgang Ullrich is a cultural studies scholar and freelance writer based in Leipzig. From 2006 to 2015, he was a professor of art history and media theory at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design. He publishes on the history and critique of the concept of art, as well as on topics related to the sociology and politics of images. Janis El-Bira, born in Braunschweig in 1986, studied philosophy and history in Berlin and has since worked as a journalist and presenter with a focus on theater. He is an editor for the theater portal nachtkritik.de and a presenter and editor for the program "Rang 1 - Das Theatermagazin" on Deutschlandfunk Kultur. In addition, texts and contributions for various newspapers and radio stations. From 2016 to 2021 he headed the journalistic project for young talent "Theatertreffen-Blog" at the Berliner Festspiele. Jury activities include the Mülheim Drama Prize 2021, the Fast Forward 2021 festival in Dresden, and the Politik im Freien Theater 2022 festival in Frankfurt am Main.
