The Fonds Darstellende Künste supports projects at the interface between the performing arts and cultural education as part of the “Kultur macht stark. Alliances for Education”, the GLOBAL VILLAGE KIDS program supports projects at the interface of the independent performing arts and cultural education. Under the funding priority “artistic projects in digital spaces”, projects for children and young people between the ages of 3 and 18 with difficult access to education between the ages of three and 18 can be funded and implemented in Hamburg.
GLOBAL VILLAGE KIDS Digital supports short, medium and long-term projects that open up digital and hybrid spaces and techniques in various genres and disciplines and enable artistic, empowering, conscious and critical approaches to digital media. Projects from all fields and disciplines of the independent performing arts, such as drama, music theater, dance, puppet and object theater, performance, theater for young audiences, site-specific performances, contemporary circus, gaming and others, are conceivable.
