Mona Leinung

Mona Leinung is a research associate at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen and at the Essen Institute for Cultural Studies. She studied visual communication, art history, and philosophy in Berlin, Essen, and Bochum, and is currently working on her dissertation titled “Hot and Cold: Politics of Temperature.” Her research focuses on media philosophy, the history of concepts, critical social theory, and affect theory.
