Solistenensemble Kaleidoskop

Founded in Berlin in 2006, the soloist ensemble Kaleidoskop has been dedicated to developing new forms of experimental music theater since its inception. The ensemble’s members have evolved from purely instrumentalists to musical performers and co-authors of the collaborative productions. Kaleidoskop views music theater as a space for encounter and community, as well as a space that has the power to imagine alternative futures.

With its explicitly interdisciplinary and collaborative approach, the ensemble continually joins forces with artists from diverse genres and cultural backgrounds. In recent years, the exploration of the body has increasingly become a focal point of their work. This has led to collaborations with artists such as Laurent Chétouane, Susanne Kennedy, Isabel Lewis, Pol Pi, Ariel Efraim Ashbel, Black Cracker, Anika, Maya Dunietz, Ethan Braun, Wojtek Blecharz, Adam Linder, Annika Kahrs, the Dance On Ensemble, and the EnsembleWhatWhyArt (Seoul).
