Animal / Machine / Barely Human

Adam Linder's ‘Animal / Machine / Barely Human’ is a performance installation for the dancers Juan Pablo Cámara and Brooke Stamp, presented at HAU2 in December 2024. In a hyperreal environment, the idiosyncratic and technical embodiments of two hybrid figures – one human-machine, the other animal-machine – exude an understanding that our current humanity is more than what we accept it to be.
