Residency grants
Create synergies and enable partnerships: By making residencies possible at production houses within the flausen+bundesnetzwerk, the Fonds is intensifying the cooperation between artistic groups and independent production venues – in urban as well as rural areas. Artistic experiments and the practical exploration of concepts are the main focus.
What is funded?
Funding is available for open-ended projects such as artistic/experimental laboratories and concept development for future productions taking place in a residency, at/or in connection with one of the residency locations listed below.
Who can apply?
Residency grants are aimed at independent professionally producing performing arts groups from all genres and fields of the independent performing arts who are residents and primarily work in Germany, and who have participated in significant artistic or curatorial positions in publicly funded performing arts projects in the independent performing arts in the past and have a certification from one of the production houses in the flausen+bundesnetzwerk.
