pulk fiktion

As the host group of the LAB, pulk fiktion knows that eye level is fake. But relationship is not.

As the host group of the lab, pulk fiktion knows that the meeting on eye level is fake. But relationship is not. Even if the relationship between children and adults is always related through a power imbalance. So how exactly does the artistic encounter work that goes beyond a research-oriented material gain? An exchange that redefines long-term and sustainable artistic ways of working? And how can a joint aesthetic transformation of the artistic content develop through these encounters between theater-makers and young audiences?

At the FFT Düsseldorf, pulk fiktion, young people and theater-makers for young audiences without a home based venue of their own will come together for three days. They will introduce and test their own artistic encounter tools. Together they want to explore and record what interests young people in theater and its makers and vice versa. How can common artistic spaces of encounter be created? The lb will be graphically recorded and at the end all participants design their own documentation – a zine. Because first steps of sustainability and relationship are the memory of the encounter itself, the archive of it and the transmission into everyday life.
