THE ART OF STAYING MANY | Bitterfeld-Wolfen

14. June 2024 | OSTEN Festival

The mobile theater truck makes a stop at the OSTEN Festival, which explores "the East" (Osten) as a landscape of change and becomes a platform, discourse space, punk concert, subversion laboratory and venue for transformation experiences. Networking and practical strategies to strengthen artistic and resilient forces and resources meet subversive practices that undermine claims to social normalcy.

"Baggern“

Performance by STUDIO URBANISTAN

Punk concert by AbRAUM with interludes by Das Helmi, Tanja Krone and Anna Lux

For the finale, leading voices from both popular and alternative culture will finally meet the Bitterfeld local heroes from the East German punk band AbRAUM in the evening to light a firework display for the potential of the subversive (in democracy) together with all those present in "Abraum-Land" somewhere between punk & pamphlet, pop & politics, philosophy & beer.
