Shame Over? Sexualität und Identität in digitaler Performance mit jungen Menschen

With: artist collective Jakob* & Schleiff (Christo Schleiff, Jakob*) and other guests

How can digital means be used in performances in a way that enables an engagement with oneself and can also strengthen and enlighten? In the Virtual S*Exploration Lab, young people reflect on sexuality and identity using digital formats of expression such as VR worlds, AI-generated images, memes and song lyrics. This raises the question: How can artists provide methods, create a structure and at the same time keep the space open in a way that participants can lead the way as competent experts with knowledge about topics and technologies themselves?
In the workshop, artists working at the intersection of the independent performing arts and cultural education share the methods, knowledge, and tools that they have gathered in projects with young people and offer a discussion about active collaboration with the audience.
