What is intergenerational research about today?

Collective Research in theater for young audiences operates at the interface of art, academia and society and advocates for social participation in research. It turns theater into a laboratory for alternative futures and invites people of all ages to experiment together.

The lab on collaboration between children and adults in performative research processes assembles kids, artists and researchers from theaters, universities and the independent theater community. It continues the work of the network 'Forschung im Kinder- und Jugendtheater' and evaluates what has been achieved so far.

Members of the network come together at Fundus Theater/Theater of Research in Hamburg on September 23rd and 24th: In the 'WHO WHAT WHY Arena' lab participants are invited to bring their own topics and questions: What is intergenerational research about today?

On the 24th, children and adults meet for a workshop called "NACHMACHEN" (COPY THIS): What can be done with past research projects as they are documented on the network’s website? Can they be copied? Should research processes be continued? Children decide!

More detailed documentation of the lab can be found behind the following keywords, which invite you to browse.
